Lady Rebels Take Down Colorado State in a 69-65 Thriller
The UNLV Lady Rebels got it done once again, pulling off a gritty 69-65 win over Colorado State. It wasn’t always pretty, but they handled business when it mattered most.
Game Recap
UNLV came out strong, moving the ball well and taking smart shots. Aaliyah Alexander put up 14 points and made big plays when needed, while Alyssa Brown was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field, finishing with 12 points and 10 boards. The Lady Rebels shot 57.1% from three, which played a huge role in keeping the Rams at bay.
On the other side, Colorado State didn’t go down easy. Hannah Simental led them with 19 points, and Emma Ronsiek added 16. They hit 86.7% of their free throws, which kept them in striking distance all night. But in the end, UNLV’s rebounding advantage (40-26) and ability to close out defensively made the difference.
